Cancelling an online order

For eligible goods, tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days after delivery, then return them within 14 days of telling us. Email us with your order number, items, order and delivery dates, name and address. A particular form is not required. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Excessive handling may reduce your refund.

Additional 30-day returns

We also accept eligible change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery when goods are unused, in the condition received and in their original packaging. This additional policy does not limit statutory cancellation rights or rights for faulty goods.

Exceptions

Change-of-mind exceptions include goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, personalised goods, and sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. These exceptions do not remove rights if goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied. Sale items have the same statutory rights as full-price items.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Contact us with your order number and details of the problem. We will arrange the appropriate remedy under your consumer rights and cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied. The voluntary 30-day policy does not limit those rights.

Returning goods

Contact us before sending goods for return instructions. Include your order number or other proof of purchase. Send returns to AK World Mart, 42A Gloucester Avenue, Northampton, NN4 8QF, United Kingdom. Do not send goods to the manufacturer. Keep evidence of posting.

Costs and refunds

You pay direct return postage for a change-of-mind return. For eligible statutory cancellations, we refund goods and standard outbound delivery; extra upgraded delivery costs are not refunded. Refunds are issued within 14 days after we receive returned goods or evidence you sent them back, whichever is earlier. For the additional 30-day returns policy, approved refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the return.

Refunds use the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Payment providers may take additional processing time. For missing refunds, email sale@akworldmart.shop.

This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
